Matthew Haas holds the position of Vice President of Investor Relations at Riverside Capital. Based in Los Angeles, Matthew brings more than 25 years of affordable housing and community development experience to his role. In his new position, Matthew will oversee investor relationships, largely focusing on the western region.
Coming to Riverside from Merritt Community Capital Corporation, Matthew's most recently served as director of Investor Relations and Fund Management for the past eight years, where he raised almost $500 million in equity for affordable housing funds. Prior to that, Matthew was Deputy Director of California Lending for the Low Income Investment Fund. His experience also includes senior positions at Fannie Mae, Bank of America, the National Equity Fund, and the Illinois Housing Development Authority. The depth of his experience, his commitment to client service, and his strong existing relationships with investors seeking to support high quality affordable housing expand Riverside’s capacity to provide industry-leading customer service and attention to its partners.
Matthew Haas holds as M.S. Degree in Urban Planning from Columbia University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from the University of California, Berkeley.
