As Vice President of Underwriting, Mark Furey’s primary responsibilities include managing the Closing process for Riverside and our developer partners as well as ensuring that the needs of Riverside’s investor partners are being met. Mark is responsible for obtaining all necessary due diligence, ensuring third party reports are ordered and promptly received and working with equity counsel to ensure that the various partnership documents are being prepared and distributed in a timely manner.
Mark has over 10 years of experience in the affordable housing industry. Prior to joining Riverside, Mark worked as a Senior Acquisitions Manager for Raymond James Tax Credit Funds, where he managed the closing process and underwriting of over $300M of equity. On multiple occasions, Mark has been recognized for providing both developer partners and institutional investor clients with outstanding customer service.
Mark received his M.B.A. from the University of Florida and holds undergraduate degrees in both Finance and Economics, also from the University of Florida.
