As Vice President of Acquisitions, Mark Furey’s primary responsibilities include originating tax credit investments and ensuring the needs of Riverside Capital’s developer partners are being met. Mark has 15 years of experience in the affordable housing industry and has successfully underwritten and closed over $500M of equity nationwide. Mark has significant experience in deal structuring, legal partnership documents, and all due diligence items associated with LIHTC transactions.
Prior to joining Riverside, Mark worked as a Senior Acquisitions Manager for Raymond James Tax Credit Funds, where he managed the closing process and underwriting of over $300M of equity. On multiple occasions, Mark has been recognized for providing both developer partners and institutional investor clients with outstanding customer service.
Mark received his M.B.A. from the University of Florida and holds undergraduate degrees in both Finance and Economics, also from the University of Florida.
