As Vice President for Riverside, Mr. Darling’s primary responsibility is working with developer partners to help them structure proposed development projects to minimize risks and maximize the financing while ensuring that the needs of Riverside’s investor partners are being met. In addition, Mr. Darling manages the due diligence and closing process to ensure a smooth and beneficial transaction for all parties. Before joining Riverside, Chip was the Director of Real Estate Development for the Philadelphia Region for Mission First Housing Group, where he led the development team in assembling more than $100 million in financing to develop more than 500 units of affordable housing. Before that, Chip was a Partner with Fairmount Ventures, where he helped nonprofit developer clients secure funding for affordable housing in multiple states. Mr. Darling earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Urban Studies from the University of Pennsylvania.
